La origine, termenul de osteria (in limba italiana) era folosit pentru a desemna un local simplu, unde se serveste mancare si vin. Adica deloc pretentios. Localul deschis la sfarsitul anului trecut pe Bd. Ion Mihalache este insa cu siguranta pretentios.

Exaltarea cu care a fost intampinata (re)deschiderea Caru(lui) cu Bere acum cativa ani este greu de descris. Dintr-odata, aveam cu totii acces la spatiul aproape mitic in care protipendada unei epuci stralucitoare si apuse isi desfasurase amorurile, isi plansese dramele amoroase si mai ales isi adusese laolalta mintile stralucite si boeme ale momentului. A merge sa mananci acolo era ca o calatorie in timp.

Acele doamne si domnisoare care cunosc conceptul de dieta hipoglicemica vor tresari poate la citirea acestei denumiri de local, bistro Montignac. Negresco. Unii ar putea crede ca este vorba despre ACEL hotel de mare lux din Nisa, botezat dupa numele fondatorului sau roman undeva in anii 1900 si ceva. De fapt este vorba despre un nou local deschis in Centrul Istoric, in imediata vecinatate a Carului cu Bere.

Cautand locuri cu mancare sanatoasa pentru pranz, am aflat de la amici de existenta bistro Moo Moo. Un soi de &#8220;fast food cu slow food&#8221; dupa cum se exprima o prietena, deci chiar ceea ce cautam. In parcul Herastrau nu mergi doar la plimbari cu bicicleta sau cu rolele, ci mergi sa iei si masa, in din ce in ce mai numeroasele restaurante din zona. Unora le merge foarte bine, altele se inchid si lasa locul noilor veniti, dupa cum este cazul restaurantului cu specific mediteranean Neptunus, care nu are nici jumatate de an de cand a aruncat ancora in parc.

Bucataria mediteraneana si cea italieneasca in special iti ofera posibilitati multiple de infruptare, folosind ingrediente simple care odata gatite iti ofera o excursie culinara delicioasa. Tocmai de aceea nu vor fi niciodata prea multe restaurante cu specific italienesc in Bucuresti, si cum centrul vechi este si va ramane locul momentului din capitala era normal ca si aici sa fie un astfel de restaurant. Am mancat micul dejun la lumina dulce a diminetii, am luat pranzul in lumina naturala si am cinat la lumina lumanarii, dar nu m-am gandit vreodata ca voi cina in bezna totala. De pe 8 noiembrie s-a deschis in Bucuresti, in zona Traian, Blind Restaurant, un restaurant unde mergi pe mana chelnerilor si pe instinctele tale, caci servesti cina pe intuneric.

Trecusem de multe ori pe langa Chez Marie (in zona Gradina Icoanei) si remarcasem mai ales terasa in serile de vara: scaune din fier forjat alb, cu multe, multe plante si lumini raspandite discret printre frunze. Am ajuns pana la urma intr-o seara de toamna spre iarna la (Chez) Marie ca sa ma conving ca locul este intr-adevar cochet si intim, numai bun de visat la frantuzisme.
