Nu am fost prea mare fana a chimiei iar cand intram in laboratorul de chimie, temperatura scazuta si mirosul combinat de substante imi dadea fiori. Cand am ajuns in Laboratorul de cocktailuri, un bar din centrul vechi cu tematica laboratorului de chimie, desi am revazut tabelul lui Mendeleev, eprubetele si paharele Berzelius nu avut fiori reci ci, dimpotriva, o dulce nostalgie.

Exaltarea cu care a fost intampinata (re)deschiderea Caru(lui) cu Bere acum cativa ani este greu de descris. Dintr-odata, aveam cu totii acces la spatiul aproape mitic in care protipendada unei epuci stralucitoare si apuse isi desfasurase amorurile, isi plansese dramele amoroase si mai ales isi adusese laolalta mintile stralucite si boeme ale momentului. A merge sa mananci acolo era ca o calatorie in timp.

Ma intreba un prieten francez recent daca pentru noi, bucurestenii, a bea cafea este un tabiet sau o necesitate. Intuitia imi spune ca este mai degraba o necesitate undeva suspendata intre viciu si umplerea timpului. Cautand locuri cu mancare sanatoasa pentru pranz, am aflat de la amici de existenta bistro Moo Moo. In parcul Herastrau nu mergi doar la plimbari cu bicicleta sau cu rolele, ci mergi sa iei si masa, in din ce in ce mai numeroasele restaurante din zona. Unora le merge foarte bine, altele se inchid si lasa locul noilor veniti, dupa cum este cazul restaurantului cu specific mediteranean Neptunus, care nu are nici jumatate de an de cand a aruncat ancora in parc.

Bucataria mediteraneana si cea italieneasca in special iti ofera posibilitati multiple de infruptare, folosind ingrediente simple care odata gatite iti ofera o excursie culinara delicioasa. Tocmai de aceea nu vor fi niciodata prea multe restaurante cu specific italienesc in Bucuresti, si cum centrul vechi este si va ramane locul momentului din capitala era normal ca si aici sa fie un astfel de restaurant.
